Artwork and Setup
information


To complete your setup we will need
to have an understanding of what you would like
engraved, or etched.  If you already have an idea of what you
would like then great!  Otherwise we can work with you to come up
with something that will look amazing and speak wonders.

For your setup we can use artwork or
images from our large collection; or we can use your artwork
provided in the correct format.

If you would like to provide your own artwork,
please provide us either by email, mail, or bring artwork in person in
the following formats:

Preferred Vector Formats:
Vector Drawings (no photographs, raster images, or embedded objects please)
 with all text converted to curves/objects
(everything in the drawing will be in the form of editable lines and curves,
and the text will not be changeable, please see your software mnftr. for details)
File formats for vector drawings are typically,
*.ai, *.eps, *.ps, *.dxf, *.gc1-3, *.plt, *.dwg

What is a vector image?

Preferred Raster Formats:
Highest quality (highest dpi over 300dpi preferred, but no less than 100 dpi),
please provide with clear definition and contrast between colors
File formats with the best clarity and quality are:
*.tiff, *.raw, *.gif, *.wmf, *.png, *.gif, *.bmp, *.jpg (high dpi)

What is a raster image?

Lower Quality Raster Formats:
we will work with whatever format
you have available but if you have any
of the following formats a more comprehensive setup fee
will be charged, as the artwork will require more work to be 'cleaned-up'
*.jpg (low dpi), anything less than 100 dpi, and
anything smaller in size than the actual engraving will be

Unacceptable Artwork/Verbage:
Anything considered morally unacceptable will
be refused immediately.
